ReVlog: A Road Node Meditation on Logic with Carl Weaver

This video was made by Jan McLaughlin back in October 2005 and features some former students from the GED program I run. I decided to revlog it since it deals with Worcester and some of the personal and social issues young people face. The issues are serious and hard to grapple with, but I think there is always hope. Touching the life of one person is like planting a seed of possibilities. What grows from the seed depends on how it is nurtured.

Here is the original post Jan made.

Thanks, Jan, for blessing us with your presence and giving us all hope!

Destiny

Watch the video

Destiny is a student in the GED class I teach and I called her bluff this morning when she asked about doing a video. I pulled the camera out and turned it on her.

Forgive the poor video quality. For some reason this particular camera is not working terribly well. Off to the repair shop it goes...

Phramaha Nattapong - Buddhist Monk from Thailand

Watch the video
Phramaha Nattapong recently came to visit me here in Worcester. I got him to agree to a video but it does not really show much of his normal lively character. Still a good talk, though.

Submit Your Story

What's your story? Do you have a story to tell? Do you want to help someone else tell a story?

You can submit ideas to me at blogmail@carlweaver.com or by leaving a comment to this blog post.

Do you want to produce your own video story and publish it here? That's fine too. Email me with the details or else where I can find the finished piece and we will get it online.

The only requirement is that it has to be about Worcester or a local resident, event or business.

Tell me a story.
