Immigration Rally - May 1, 2006
I had seen Randy Feldman, one of the organizers of this event, the week before and asked him how many people he expected to come out to City Hall. He said he didn't know and said maybe a couple hundred. The day after the rally, the Telegram & Gazette reported that 2000 people had come out. Quite an exciting afternoon!

I wish I'd been able to be a more active part of this. While the issue is certainly complicated, I love the solidarity and mobilization it's causing. I love it when people actually get involved and care!
